The bus will be the best way to travel to the course via public transport in the morning, since the ferries to the zoo do not start until after 9am.

• The M30 Metro Bus travels to Taronga Zoo Sydney every 10 - 15 minutes from Central, Town Hall and Wynyard train stations and is the best option for those staying along Military Road or in the city.

You will need an Opal card in advance of your bus, train or ferry ride, but these are available at every news agent shop, generally within a few metres of each downtown bus stop.  There is no charge for the card and you can load the card with funds sufficient to cover your anticipated travel.  Or, if you are very keen, you can pre-order an Opal Card via https://www.opal.com.au/
