ASVP Annual General Meeting Proxy Appointment Form

Complete this form if you are unable to attend the ASVP Annual General Meeting and wish to appoint another ASVP member to vote on your behalf.

Under Rule 8.8 of the ASVP Rules, a member may appoint, in writing, a natural person who is also a member of the Association to act as their proxy and attend and vote at a general meeting of the Association.

The appointed proxy must therefore be a current ASVP member. Alternatively, members may appoint the Chair of the Meeting as their proxy by simply entering 'Chair' in the Proxy Appointment field below.

This proxy appointment applies to the Annual General Meeting of the Australian Society for Veterinary Pathology Inc. to be held on Wednesday, 26 August 2026 at 1:00 pm via Google Meet.

Proxy appointments must be submitted by COB 24 August 2026.

MOTIONS

Motion 1 – Confirmation of Minutes of the 2025 Annual General Meeting
That the Minutes of the ASVP Annual General Meeting held on 18 October 2025 be confirmed as a true and correct record.

Motion 2 – Confirmation of Minutes of the Special General Meeting
That the Minutes of the ASVP Special General Meeting held on 2 July 2026 be confirmed as a true and correct record.

Motion 3 – Receipt of Committee Reports
That the reports of the President, Secretary and Treasurer be received, and that the reports of the Davis Thompson Foundation Australia and AAPSP be noted.

Motion 4 – Election of the 2026–2027 ASVP Executive Committee

That the following nominees be elected unopposed as members of the 2026–2027 ASVP Executive Committee:

Treasurer: Dr Angel Ngo

Motion 5 – Confirmation of Representatives
That Tony Ross (Davis Thompson Foundation Australia) and Dr Shane Besier (AAPSP) be confirmed as ASVP representatives.

By submitting this form, you confirm that you are a current ASVP member entitled to vote and that you appoint the ASVP member named in the form as your proxy for the Annual General Meeting.
